How the estimate works
The baseline is the standard publishing rule of thumb: about 500 words per single-spaced page and 250 per double-spaced page in 12 pt Times New Roman with 1-inch margins. We then adjust for how wide each font is, the square of the font size, the line spacing and the text area left by your margins.
